Where o where is Spring?

I am so tired of cold wind and rain, I really want to get outside and start working in the yard and garden, but the weather just doesn't want to warm up! Well it did give me a excuse to play in my stamp room yesterday:) I've been so busy at work that I haven't had time to play with all the goods I've been "collecting" lately! So yesterday I got out the Springtime vintage DS paper I bought back in Jan:) It's so pretty and of course after this month it retires:( but at least I'll have plenty in my stash! So here's a couple cards I made yesterday, hope you like!

 This first one is just a very simple card, with a few layers and some of our Stampin up twine, which I love, and realized I'm almost out of, so I'm going to have to order some more, darn it:)

 On this card I wanted the flowers to pop a little bit, so I stamped a couple using the two step stamping set Baby Blossoms the cut them out to pop off the label. And yes I cut them out! (for a few of my gals that hate it when I make them cut out little elements:)

 This Card is a fun fold that I saw when I has blog hoppin yesterday, it's called a tilted easel card, isn't it cute when it's open?

Almost Friday!!

As some of you know my day job is a accountant, and at this point of the year I'm ready to pull out my hair and go screaming down the street! I so miss my shorter hours and most of all haveing time to STAMP!! Tonight I did make a fast card for my dear hubby's birthday, tomorrow, ya I put things of till the last minute!
But here it is, very simple and nothing fancy!

Welcome to my newest grandson!

Ok here is the reason I haven't been creating lately! My newest grand child arrived March 31st at 12:49 am! Ryker came into the world at 7lbs 14ozs! He is such a handsome little man, Momma and baby are doing great, and Nana finally got some sleep last night! lol I'm hopeing to do some stamp therapy today, so if I come up with something good I'll be back to post later!
