Part 2 for today!

Ok first we have 1 of the little 3x3 thank you cards I made today. I really like the 1/4 inch ribbon on here it's just the right size for these itty bitty cards.

This next one is my version of the card that was on the front of our October Stampin up magazine that demonstrators get. I love the fall colors, even though I think winter has arrived here! LOL
I like the Owl punch and don't use it enough, so I thought this card just cried out for a owl!

Ok of all the things I made this weekend this is my favorite! You can't really see it in these pictures, but the black portion of the flowers I inked the edges with Very Vanilla craft in and the embossed with clear embossing powder! It really made the flower pop!
It is just a cute little 3x3 box, don't know what I'll put in it, but it's cute:)
And last for now, I made a luminary to put on the Thanksgiving table! Hope you enjoyed my little projects and have a wonderful evening!!

Hi! I've been busy!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I did! I had all kinds of time to play lately, and have lots of things to share with you!

The First project is a cute little matchbox I made for a gift for a good friend! I absolutely love the vintage papers and ribbon from Stampin Up!

This is a little 3x3 book I found on Split Coast Stamper (meandering book) I decided to make one for each of the grand kids Mom's so they can put in little pictures, and journal on the tags that pull out of the pages!

Sorry been absent so long!

Sometimes my life gets a little crazy, as does every ones, makes it hard to keep up with everything. So I've been doing some crafting but haven't had time to post much, so there will be a few project here to share. The first one I did today after I cleaned up my shop a little. I used my cricut to cut out vinyl to use for my pattern. Then went out to the shop and cut my letters out of a 1x4, then cut the letters out of one of Stampin Ups' christmas papers.
I really like the way these turned out! Can't wait to hang them up. It was also very nice to play in my shop today too!
This next one is a card for Christmas, I saw something similar on Stampin connection and had to try it.

Some Christmas tags using the scalloped rectangle emboslit.
This card I CASED from my friend Charlotte, I loved hers and made this for club last month.
Ok sorry this one is sideways, still haven't figured out how to fix that! I liked makeing the wreath with the swirled stamp.
Just a basic card, opens in the center, front is only attached on the left so it swings open.
Ornament made using 2 slides and sticky strip, with Stampin Ups' glass glitter.
Oops another sideways card, Thanks for looking and hope you enjoyed!

Birthday card.

Ok I know it's been awhile, life has been crazy, work is getting the better than me most days, so I come home exhausted and no creative mojo. I made this card the other day for my sisters birthday, I do love the bright colors on it. The Poppy parade is a beautiful red, it might just become a favorite!
I'm hoping to have some more time to play tomorrow before I head of to Portland for regionals! I'm excited to go see friends, learn some new things and get away from work!!

Wow! Sorry it's been so long!

Sometimes life gets in the way, some times it's good and others not so much! This last weekend I went to the pumpkin patch with one son and his family. Even though it was a rainy day, the rain held off while we got lost in the corn maze, and picked out the perfect pumpkins! The farm we like to go to makes the best homemade cake donuts and apple cider! Even though I had 3 while I was there I had to buy a dozen to bring home! Yum yum.
I did get some crafting done this weekend also, not as much as I'd hoped, but here is one of the fall cards I made to send to my cousin, hope you enjoy!
I love the fall colors on this card I used Cajun Craze, Ridinghood red and Pumpkin Pie. For the back ground I just randomly stamped the leaves from the Autumn Splender stamp set, the pumpkin is from the Autumn Harvest set.
Hope you liked this one. i will try and post my Christmas cards tonight that we are doing tomorrow night at our club. Have a great day and Happy Stampin'.

Halloween Treats!

This is what I've been working on this morning! Halloween treats, even though my husband will ask, "why bother, they just tear them up". I still enjoy making them. Both of these items I've seen on the web, so I didn't come up with them myself.
They hold 4 packs of the little nerd boxes.

Hope you enjoy! Have a great Day!

Sweet Cute Halloween!

I have to say that I love how this card turned out! And I love the paper and my latest purchase, Stampin Up' watercolor pencils!! I wish I would have got these sooner, I love them! I used the stamp set Greeting Card Kids 120633, CS is The In-color Peach Parfait, The Designer paper is from the Hostess 6x6 in-color paper pack. The ribbon is the Peach Parfait 1/2"stitched-poly ribbon 119264. I hand stitched a basting stitch and gathered the ribbon and stuck it down using Sticky Strip! And of course a few of our little Rhinestones. Then I popped the picture and mat of the card with dimensionals! Hope you like it!

Busy weekend

This weekend was busy busy, Started off yesterday morning watching one of my granddaughter's soccer game, they won! Way to go Reesy! Then it was off to the parade with my oldest, his daughters were sick so they didn't get to go. Then my daughter and I went to the state fair with her little one to see all the animals and displays. Nana slept really good last night!
Today I had some of my stampers out to work on Stamp-a-stack cards. I always have a good time with these gals. Here is one of the cards we did today, I wanted a more manly card to add to the bunch so this is the one I came up with.
This was made with a set that is new in this catalog Out West 120543. The paper is Sahara Sand, Early Espresso, and a little bit of Old Olive. The Cowboy is stamped with Sahara Sand ink on Sahara Sand CS. The stars were inked and then spritzed with Log Cabin Smooch Spritz 119921. Hope you enjoy!

Happy Monday!

Finally had some time yesterday to play with one of my new christmas stamps from the Holiday mini, and I can say I love this stamp it's the Christmas postcard single stamp item #121428. I also used a little bit of Material from the mini also out of the Deck the halls bundle 121716. Hope you like it!

Saturday, September 18, 2010

Well as much as I wanted to be crafty today, it didn't happen! Instead I spent my day cleaning! But in the process I did get my craftroom cleaned agian, so at least I can find things agian! I did a couple scrap pages yesterday to enter in the local fair and I 'll post them after the fair is over in 2 weeks. So I wanted to put something up so I went back thru some of my older pictures and found this one I did a year or so ago.
I did the dryer sheet technique on this one and used our Dazzling Diamonds on it. Hope you enjoy it and I'll be playing for sure tomorrow and see what I can come up with to share! Have a wonderful evening!

Halloween!

One of the demonstrations at convection was using the new Decor elements Spooky things in the Holiday mini and the Designer Jewels, so I searched around until I found the white pumpkins so I could make my own. The picture frame was from the dollar store, the decor elements are on the glass then I put a piece of Cajun Craze paper in for the background! Hope you like them!

Rag bag

After convention I just had to order the square scallop die and make me a rag purse everyone was showing off. I thought they were so cute, this was my sample bag I even put a pocket on one end for my cell phone, Cuz I'm forever loseing it in my purse!

Sunday, September 12, 2010

ok final post for tonight! I picked up this paper box at the dollar store and decorated it for a small gift for a friend (can't show the gift yet!) I love our new vintage paper in the holiday mini, This is the Deck the Halls Designer series paper 120810. And if you look real close on the top is our new fabric! And even though I didn't get very good pictures, it matches the paper! And of course I used the Deck the Halls fabric 121716! I had a really hard time cutting into this material because it's so pretty!! The label on top is also a new punch, Decorative Label 120907, and the extra large oval 119859. The label stamp is also retired out of the summer mini.
Well thank you for looking!

Well this is part 2 of my post tonight! I have a hard time getting things on here the way I want them to show up so thought if I did them in multiable post I can get it right!

Ok here is another TP roll! This one is decorated for halloween goodies! I used the Wicked Cool stamp set 120600, the orange ribbon is actually a retired tangerine tango that matched the only orange, so I went ahead and used it! The lace on the take is out of the new holiday mini, I just love it!1/2 lace trim 120988

ok here we go agian with side ways pictures! This little card uses our treat cups 116802
and the sweet centers stamp set 116521. Papers are Concord crush, black and Pumpkin pie.

Oh I do love the weekends! Had a great time this weekend with grandkids yesterday and Hubby today! But I did find time to be crafty too! I picked up these little hanging boards at a local store thinking I wanted to do something for the grandkids room. I started with the youngest one first and I love the way it turned out.

I used the Wild Wasabi, and Mango Melon papers and didn't even know what picture I was going to use, and they matched perfect! I inked the edges of the mats and the butterflies. The butterfies were cut useing SU die beautiful butterflies 114507, and the Beatiful Wings embosslit 118138,
the buttons were cut with the sizzlits die Buttons #5 113440, I embossed the DS paper using the Background texture plates #1 114512.
The DS paper is from the Subtles patterns designer series paper stack 117152.
The ribbon is retired and I actually took it out of my old ribbon sampler! The buttons I gave a coat of crystal effects 101055 to give it the shine. And of course had to add some bling with our new rhinestones 119246! The alphabit stamp set is retired and was in the summer mini.
Hope you enjoy it!
