Good Saturday morning!

Boy I hate that work keeps interupting my fun! But this morning I have been able to go play in my craft room and finish up a few projects and try a new (to me) technique that I've been wanting to do. As do many of you, I like to search the web for ideas to try, I found this wonderful artist a while back and have wanted to try her techniques for ever. Her name is Michele Zindorf (hope I spelled that right!) She is a stamper, but in my eyes what she does is art work. I finally got to do one of her techniques this morning, so here it is and I hope you like it!

I saw it, I loved it, I made it!

I saw this design on one of my favorite web sites, the card was a Valentine, but I need a sympathy card so I changed it. I really love how it turned out and how simple it was. Hope you enjoy it.

I would like to thank all my club members for the great time we had this month, (and we really missed those that were unable to join us!), I really look forward to crafting with you guys each month! Thank you!!

Sorry it takes me awhile to update but following are some of the projects that I've done recently. I have spent today playing and enjoying peace and quite with the house to my self. I was surrounded by fog, feeling very remote on my little mountain. For some reason that made me think about how blessed I am. My life is so full of blessings, I have a great family and some very wonderful friends. Since I started Stampin' Up I have met some great people and made some lasting friendships for which I'm very thankful. I want to thank everyone for being a part of my world!
Here are some projects that I wanted to share with you, enjoy!

Here is a layout that I did of my grandsons trip to the pumpkin patch. They had a barrel made into a horse and he had lots of fun riding it.

I just put pictures on this layout .

Ok this was this weeks scrap club layout that my club did.

Sorry can't figure out how to flip this one! Some times I really feel stupid when it comes to these computers.

This is a very inexpensive unfinished frame I got at a local craft store. I covered it with paper and then used some Stampin Up flowers, and brads to dress it up. There are also some vines and birds that I cut out using a Stampin' Up die for my Big shot.

Ok I had a wild idea to cover a old picture frame today that I had from my days as a 4-H leader. It was a turquoise color to match our decorations. Since I really like anything western I decided to use a leather designed paper to cover the frame with. I am really happy with it. So I will now be looking for old frames to perk up! The picture in the frame is my kids and grand kids at the pumpkin patch this fall.

I decided I wanted to make a box for gift a little larger than some of the boxes I had done so far. I really like how this one turned out. The flowers on top are punched out use 2 different Stampin' up pinches. Then curled thin strips of paper around a small pen to get the curly streamers. This is the front of the box using the Stampin' Up butterfly punch, and designer label punch and hardware from the modge podge set. and some more curly streamers and bling.

This one is a easel card that I made for a new baby boy in the family.
